PT Bina Insan Sukses Mandiri (BISM) owns coal mining concession for 5,000 Hectares in East Kalimantan, Indonesia having reserves of 160 Million Tonnes. 

The company has offices at Jakarta, Samarinda and Melak. Jakarta and Samarinda are corporate/marketing and liaison offices while Melak is a site office looking after the mining operations. 

We have a dedicated team of 250 well qualified members including 15 expatriate for the development and operations of the coal mine.

We have excellent logistics support for transportation through own jetty of 62.5 Ha with complete loading facilities. These facilities with crusher can handle 2.5 million MT of coal per annum. 

Internal Coal Hauling distance is only 2 Km and the distance between stockpiles to Jetty is just 500 meters. All the area is exclusively under our concession with no other operations or habitats in between. 

BISM has started commercial production of coal in June 2010 and has already produced and sold around 1 million Tonnes till end of August 2011.

SPML and EMCO Group of India have major holdings in BISM. In 2008, SPML and EMCO have invested in BISM and ventured into international markets.
